CHARACTER DESIGN

This project is a grounded reimagining of the iconic X-Men character, Nightcrawler. Moving away from the traditional "comic book" aesthetic, I envisioned Kurt Wagner as a mature veteran in his late 40s—a character whose presence is defined by decades of experience rather than just his mutant abilities. The goal was to create a realistic interpretation where every element serves a functional purpose. I focused heavily on the Uniform Details and a custom Weapon Design , specifically a signature Sword that reflects a tactical, battle-hardened lifestyle.Through this design, I wanted to capture a personality that is both considerate and weary , using high-fidelity textures and anatomical precision to bring a sense of weight and history to the character. This piece represents my commitment to intentional character design, blending technical execution with deep narrative roots

the necromancer
In the dark, helplessness is the deadliest snare. This piece captures the precise moment a subterranean hunt turns into a ritual execution. Facing an abyssal horror of twisted flesh and mindless hunger, the fallen conjurer adopts the guise of cornered prey—a final feint before the strike.
Her raised hands are no plea for mercy; they are the conduit for a forbidden dirge. As the beast lunges, the emerald glow of her necromancy reanimates a silent sentinel from the crypt’s dust. This is a study in the lethal elegance of the arcane: where raw, monstrous malice is undone by the unseen mastery of the shadow-weaver.

CHARACTER DESIGN

THE
UNBROKEN
This design aims to subvert traditional fantasy tropes of the female barbarian by replacing over-sexualization with raw, pragmatic, and aggressive functionality. The character is a veteran warrior from a harsh, northern clime, blending Norse and Celtic influences into a cohesive visual identity.
She has a powerful, muscular build, clearly defined and covered in intricate traditional knotwork and rune tattoos that speak of her history and lineage. Her face is hard-bitten, with heavy black kohl warpaint and scarring, emphasizing an aggressive, war-ready expression. The key design element is the sleeveless, double-breasted greatcoat vest, a rugged, structured piece made of heavy wool and weathered leather, modified for maximum freedom of arm movement.
